Mr. Schrenker has been a practicing civil attorney since 1985, emphasizing complex litigation, mainly in the real estate and construction defect area. He has tried many cases, ranging from slip and fall matters to complex construction suits. He currently emphasizes employment related matters in court as well as before the California Labor Board for both employees as well as employers, as well as continuing to litigate construction and real estate cases.

He also reviews and comments upon proposed legislation relating to various state government committees. He has testified in Senate and Legislative hearings relating to consumer laws, especially in real estate matters. He also has lectured to consumer groups, spoken at Community Association Institute programs and legal groups. In addition to civil litigation, he is also admitted to practice before the United States Government Accountability Office on matters of government contracts, and also handles matters before the California Air Resources Board and the EPA.

Mr. Schrenker also donates his time as an arbitrator and temporary judge in Orange County, where he has done so since 1990. He is also a member of Ferguson Inns of Court, where he is a Master, and a member of the Tustin Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Schrenker is married to local attorney and law partner, Teresa, with two children, Erica and Caroline.
